An incorrect notification may be caused by a locked file. Go to the category Check for Locked File for information about checking for a locked file.
If no locked files display in Quikscribe Player, close Quikscribe Player. Browse in windows to the folder or folders to which files are sent. Delete any files from those folders that do not need to be transcribed. The files may have an extension such as .tmp or .bak.
In addition, right click the File Monitor icon and shutdown the File Monitor. Close Quikscribe Player. Wait a few minutes and restart Quikscribe Player.
