Request Technical Support

You may submit your request for Technical Support via our Support page from this link. Alternatively, you can also send it from the software. Displays pop-up panel with entry fields so that you can describe a performance issue with the Quikscribe software.  An image of the support request panel is shown below. Below are steps to send a support request. 1. Click Help and select Request Technical Support. 2.    Leave Existing Issue ID blank unless you are providing information for a prior technical support request.  Enter the ticket number if the request was already assigned a number. 3. Fill in the information for what happens when the issue occurs. 4. Click the pull-down box Severity to select the severity of your issue.  Severity choices are critical, major, normal, minor and enhancement. 5. Quikscribe Licence Server Error

There is a known issue with Philips Digital Pocket Memo and Quikscribe Recorder, Downloader. It normally causes any or all of the following: 1. Crashes the Quikscribe Recorder as the DPM connects to the computer. 2. It reverts the Quikscribe Downloader to Demo Mode 3. An error message occurs: “We have been unable to connect to the Quikscribe Licence server and you have attempted to run the software more than the maximum allowable times. Please contact your system administrator.” Our programming team has already been working to fixing this issue. The below is a suggested and tested work around to fix this. Note: Please make sure that your Windows user profile has admin rights, before performing the following troubleshooting steps.” 1. Uninstall any version of Quikscribe Recorder from your computer. 2. Files not sending automatically

If your audio files are not sending automatically when you connect your dictation device to your computer, you will need to fix the send settings in your Quikscribe Downloader. See instructions below: 1. Connect your dictation device to your computer and open your Quikscribe Downloader - if it doesn’t automatically opens. 2. Go to Settings and select Device Settings. 3. Set your Automatic Selection to Select All Files. 4. Set your Quikscribe Recorder Integration to Send All Selected Files. 5. Lastly, make sure that your Prompt for Send Location Before Download is unchecked. 6. Click Save and restart your Quikscribe Downloader. …
