With the DPM 9600 a user may press the ’-’ or ‘+’ buttons to move among files. The user will want to pay particular attention to the file indicator (?) when pressing the ‘-’ or ‘+’ buttons. The indicator will either be at the beginning or ending of the file. The user may continue recording when the indicator is at the end of the file. Mark File as Urgent
With the DPM 9600 a file may be marked as urgent by (1) or (2) below: (1) Move the slider to STOP. Press the EOL button to indicate that the file is finished. The EOL button is above the slider. A checkmark will display next to the file number. Then within 1/2 second press the EOL button again to mark the file as urgent. An exclamation mark will display next to the file number. (2) Move the slider to STOP. Navigate to the file to mark as urgent. Press the menu button. Select “Priority High”. Priority may be selected from the menu anytime after recording has started. It does not need to be selected when the recording is finished. Priority may be set back to normal by again pressing the menu button and selecting “Priority normal”.
