Reports can be exported from the Quikscribe Manager in Excel file. In order to export report, there should be a database previously created. Click Reports from the top menu. Select Export Reports. This is an example to extract typist time from May 3, 2014 to May 9, 2014 using Quikscribe Manager. Follow the steps below to build the database. Click Reports. Select Build Database. Select Match all of the following. In first entry of the Search criteria: Select Date Completed in the first pull down box. Select Is After in the second pull down box. Select May 3, 2014 for the date. Click the More button. In second entry of the Search criteria: Select Date Completed in the first pull down box. Select Is Before in the second pull down box. Select May 9, 2014 for the date. Click the button Create Database. In the Browse For Folder panel browse to the Reports folder in the QsFiles folder on your network drive. Make sure Reports is highlighted. Click OK. In the Set DataBase Name panel enter a name for the Database. Enter the name in the File name field. Do not save the file in another folder. Change Priority
The transcription folders in your typing queues are color-coded according to the priorities of the file. The color legend shows at the bottom of the Quikscribe Manager. In order to change priority of the folder, you can adjust the Date/Time Required of the files inside the transcription folder. Once you're done updating the Date/Time Required of all the files inside the folder, you can then refresh the typing queue to update the priority. Right-click the transcription folder using your mouse. Select Refresh Queue. You will now see that the color of transcription folder was changed. (Green - No Priority) …
